Yesterday I took part in the International Course on Media and Information Literacy for Ibero-American Regulators, organized by Universidade Lusófona, the Consell de l’Audiovisual de Catalunya, PRAI and UNESCO.
I spoke about digital platform regulation and freedom of expression, focusing on media and information literacy (MIL) as a key strategy to strengthen the integrity of the information ecosystem.
I also presented UNESCO’s new Guidelines on Generative AI Governance, addressing how these technologies affect information integrity and democracy.
A crucial space to connect regulation, education and digital rights across our region.
